OUR ETHOS

Sustainable trade, the way it should be done

At the heart of Project Voyager Sail Cargo is a small crew with a big love for the sea, and for the communities and collectives who grow, distil and make the goods we carry. Sustainability isn’t an extra for us; it’s the reason we sail.

We’re serious about how we trade and easy-going about everything else. Every sack and cask that crosses with us is bought fairly, organic wherever we can, carried by the wind at near-zero emissions at sea and landed with its story intact, so everyone along the way comes out better off. We’d rather do it properly than do it fast.

Fair at the farm · Near-zero emissions at sea · A heartfelt story in every cup and glass

A premium today, an investment in tomorrow.

Sail freight costs more than a container slot, but sustainable trade is the only kind with a future. You get a fraction of the carbon, a working solution and a story worth telling.

A fraction of the carbon

The wind does the work. The engine is kept for harbours and safety, not for crossing oceans.

A badge for your packaging

Every shipment earns the Shipped under Sail badge, backed by a documented account of the crossing.

A voyage to build on

Photographs and footage from the crossing arrive with your cargo, ready for your labels, your shop and your socials.
